My Students
All of my students are diverse and quirky, focused and energetic, studious and creative. They come from a variety of different ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and circumstances and have a wide range of interests. They're ridiculously well rounded for teenagers!
One of the most exciting about my students is how passionately and empathetically they approach their history education.
They have so many questions about the depth of history and have a desire to understand it in all of its complexities.
My Project
In order to dig deep into academics, my students need to have basic supplies and the ability to stay healthy! Tissues, hand sanitizer, paper towels and soap are going to help us to keep the spread of germs to a minimum and pens and paper are going to ensure that we have the basics for our work together. Stickers may seem silly for 16 years old, but they love them and it helps make a positive classroom environment!
A fresh start is so important for setting the right tone for the classroom.
These materials are going to go a long way in making my students' feel properly supported!
