it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help us to combat bullying in our classroom! We want a safe environment!
My students are eager third graders who are ready to learn.
They attend a public school in a low income community with limited resources. My students struggle with reading and we need a variety of books in our classroom library. My students want to be fluent readers.
My Project
My students need the book Bullying in Schools, Pinky & Rex and the Bully, How to Be Bully Free, and other books to help them understand bullying. Students need to read about different scenarios about bullying and learn how to deal with the situation. My students need level books, magnetic word builders, word building blocks, and stamp and write sight words to help them become confident independent readers and writers. They struggle with reading and writing and feel intimidated and sometimes bullied by other students.
My students need to feel confident when reading and writing.
Having the right resources will help them become independent readers and writers. My students need to feel confident and not intimidated.
