This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeking funding for a subscription to Scholastic magazines for my Kindergarten classroom. These engaging, age-appropriate magazines will significantly enhance my students' learning by providing them with rich content that fosters a love for reading and learning. The vibrant illustrations and relatable stories will captivate their interest and promote literacy skills, critical thinking, and creativity.
My goal for this project is to encourage a lifelong passion for reading and to introduce my students to diverse topics, cultures, and ideas.
This exposure will help them develop a broader worldview and inspire their imaginations.
What makes my students special is their unique backgrounds and eagerness to learn. Many come from diverse cultures and experiences, and they thrive in a nurturing environment that celebrates their individuality. By providing them with these valuable resources, we can create a dynamic classroom experience that empowers them to dream big and achieve their goals.
