it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager, curious, and excited to learn as they begin a brand-new school year. What makes them truly special is their energy and willingness to grow, especially when given the right tools and opportunities. This will be my first year teaching reading, and I want to create a classroom environment where every child feels inspired to pick up a book and dive into new stories, characters, and ideas.
The books donated through this project will directly help build a classroom library filled with fun, engaging, and age-appropriate reads that spark interest and support different reading levels.
These resources will encourage students to develop a love for reading, improve their literacy skills, and build confidence as independent readers. Having a variety of books readily available also supports student choice, which plays a key role in keeping them motivated and connected to what they’re reading.
My goal is to build a library that becomes the heart of our classroom—a place where students can explore, imagine, and learn through stories. With your support, we can make reading an exciting part of their daily routine and help create lifelong readers. Thank you for being a part of our journey!
