This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Do you like to write? Do you like to have a variety of writing tools for writing? Maybe you use a pencil or marker to write your name. My students like to write but need other writing tools to help them write. Having lined paper and pencils to help with letter formation is very important. They need to learn how to hold a pencil correctly to write. The 3 sided pencil will help them learn how to hold a pencil.

Sentence strips, markers, whiteboards, and paper will help support my students' writing in my classroom.

The color sentence strips will be used to write words. The words will be color-coded to help them identify verbs, nouns, and adjectives. They will create a sentence with the scrambled words on the sentence strips. This activity will help my students understand the structure of a sentence.

In another activity, students will write a sentence on the whiteboards and then transfer it to a color sentence strip. Students will use markers to write their sentences.

In the writing center, they will have a variety of paper, pens, markers, and pencils to use to write. Students will have the choice of using a pen, pencil, or marker for their writing. They will create sentences, stories, and poems and share their work with their peers.

Help my students, by giving us markers, pencils, sentence strips, and whiteboards to start our journey as writers. The Students will have fun using markers and sentence strips to write sentences.
