This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project consists of deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and lotions which will benefit our scholars greatly. Our scholars are from a very underserved district and it is an important thing to us to provide them with their day to day necessities. As middle schoolers, hygiene, health, and wellness are of particular concern, and this project will help mitigate against the many issues we see in this category.
Scholars are in need of these necessities, including mouthwash, deodorant, and socks, to feel confident, avoid bullying, and to maintain good hygiene health.
We will utilize these products throughout the year to help them feel supported and cared for by our school community.
