My Students

I teach in Collinsville Illinois. I have a classroom of 28 students. 30% of our population receives special education related services and a small percentage receive ELL services. I have students that come from a variety of different economic statuses. From poverty to well off, it doesn’t matter, my classroom runs like a family! The classroom is filled with compassion, respect, and appreciation for one another. I love my job because no one day is the same. Each day brings new learning experiences and challenges, but together we always push forward! Having the best interest of the students bring me to do this project.

Wanting the best for each and every student is always my goal.

With collaboration, research, and PD our team of teachers have decided to departmentalize! I will now teach Engaged New York Eureka Math to 84 students. I plan to have leveled groups to help with instruction and accommodations. I am really looking forward to implementing this in just 2 short weeks as my team of teachers have truly put in 100% effort on making this functional.

My Project

In Sync is the digital version of my Engaged New York Math Curriculum.

In Sync will help my students get their math curriculum no matter where they are learning, home or school!

The digital worksheets, quizzes, sprints, and manipulatives will help students understand lessons, submit lessons/work online, and have everything they need in one place...on their desktop! After participating in PD and much discussions with other educators, I believe this resource to be vital to my math students, especially under the given world circumstances. Please help my students be "In Sync"!!!!!
