This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are growing readers who are voracious to experience new characters and series... Help give them room to grow with contemporary, high-interest book series to spark their interest.

Do you remember falling in love with a new series and feeling like the characters were old friends?

My kiddos are ready to stretch themselves, but our library is limited. If we have books that students actually want to read, and can't wait to get to every day, it will propel them forward and help them get ready for fourth grade.

Also, as we start state testing in a few weeks they will need to read quietly after they finish each day of testing. What better reward for a concentrated effort than a book they actually want to get lost in?!? Another adventure with an old friend?!?
