This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The seed packets, grow mix and medium will help kick start my student's into growing our own plants. This September we began growing some basil seeds I had and my students have been very dedicated. They check on their plants daily and are genuinely excited about how their plant are doing.
The goal for our project is to grow tomato, lettuce, Wisconsin fast plants from seed.
We will compare how different modes of growth influence outcome. Also see how population size affects the growth rate and overall production of the seeds planted. Students will graph growth progress and draw conclusions based on their collected data.
