Help me give my students engaging equitable lessons in our integrated co-teaching classroom with this LG Standby Me Touch-Screen Monitor which will provide interactive lessons to meet all students learning needs!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 2nd grade ICT class includes a diverse group of children, including general education students, students with disabilities and English language learners.
This cutting-edge technology will not only facilitate collaborative learning but also provide a personalized and interactive educational experience tailored to each student's learning style.
My co-teacher and I have been very creative while parallel teaching. We incorporate engaging technology into all our lessons using Google Slides, You Tube videos, and learning games. My co-teacher and I parallel teach our class meaning we split our class of 28 in half to provide smaller group instruction to meet students’ needs and learning styles. However, one teacher and group of students have use of a SMARTBOARD and all the interactive technology that comes with it. The other teacher and group use a small monitor that is hard to see. Student engagement in learning does fade and attention wanders because the technology isn’t equitable.
By using the LG Stanby Me and the Bluetooth Speaker, we will be able to have 2 engaging lessons, as well as create a learning experience that promotes rigorous learning.
This portable large screen tablet would allow us to utilize technology, not only when we are parallel teaching, but also during small group instruction. It will provide students with engaging and interactive presentations in reading, phonics, writing, math and STEM. With the touch screen technology, students can actively participate in discussions, group activities, and presentations by directly interacting with the screen. The LG StanByMe digital touch screen also allows for students to be engaged during instruction and motivates students to want to learn.
