My Project
My name is Ms. Leah Brosky. I am an early childhood special education teacher in Florida. As a Pre-K ECSE teacher, my class is the first school experience for my students. It is my job to educate my students, provide comfort, and instill the love of learning for them no matter their social, emotional, or academic abilities. Through this project, DonorsChoose, I am looking to provide my kiddos with napping cots. Naptime plays an important role in the daily routine of my students, many of whom benefit from consistent sturcture and comfortable resting space to support their physical and emotional well being. While some students nap, others will relax and read books or do quiet activities on the cots. . Giving each student their own cot will allow them to rest their bodies for better growing and learning throughout the afternoon.
A set of 12 cots will allow me to meet the needs of my students and have a few extra as replacements.
As an educator, I spend a great deal of money out of my own pocket. I would deeply be grateful for any contribution you could make to my classroom needs. Your donation will go directly to the purchase of these cots and benefit my students greatly. I truly love what I do and I want to thank you in advance for helping make my classroom a save and comfortable learning environment for my students.
