My Students
We are a small, K-8 school in a culturally diverse neighborhood in New York City. My students are enthusiastic, expressive, curious learners from all different backgrounds. They are excited to learn and make amazing art projects. They love painting, drawing, sculpting with clay, and really anything they can be creative with! With budget cuts having affected New York public schools in recent years, it has become difficult for us to sometimes purchase even some of the most basic of supplies for our classroom.
My Project
We are in need some basic supplies like bottles of glue and class pack boxes of markers to make amazing masterpieces! I know that these materials will help to foster an environment of enthusiasm and excitement in the art classroom, in which my students will want to learn even more about art.
In the past few years, our arts budget has decreased greatly, which, unfortunately, in turn has had an impact on the resources which can be supplied to students.
My students are so creative and love to explore art and their imagination. The class pack sets of markers and bottles of glue for our art classroom would be so much appreciated by myself and most definitely by all of my students. Thank you so much for helping by donating to our classroom!
