My Project
My 2nd grade students are in need of comfortable headphones that can survive daily use by 8 year olds!
We utilize several online platforms that reinforce and allow students to practice math and reading instruction and offer supplemental learning.
In addition , students LOVE to listen to their favorite stories and nonfiction texts read aloud (and this teacher LOVES that they are getting access to complex text and rich vocabulary)!
Rest assured, online learning does not replace valuable teacher instruction in this classroom! However, many students benefit greatly with frequent, small group instruction. In order to minimize disruptions, we need the other kids independently engaged which often requires the use of our digital learning platforms. All students having a reliable pair of headphones that will help make this a reality would make this a dream come true for this teacher!
