My Students

Our school is filled with curious and diverse young learners who love to learn! As media coordinator, I have the privilege of teaching and building relationships with all 800 students at our school. My students come from various backgrounds with 100% being served free breakfast and 75% being served free or reduced lunch.

My students do not allow their challenges to deter them from exploring new ideas or learning new information.

Instead, their differences and diverse needs are embraced which has created an engaging, challenging, and welcoming learning environment within the media center.

My Project

My students need two more Learniture Active Learning Stools so that more seating options are available to support the diverse learning needs of our diverse students. One of these needs is the ability to move throughout a lesson or the completion of work.

These stools will allow students to move, wiggle, and fidget as they work without distracting other students.

This flexible seating option will allow students to move which will allow greater focus on their work which will ultimately increase their academic achievement. It will also help to meet the diverse needs of our students while promoting healthy movement throughout the day.
