Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are from a low-income area that has a great community with lots of support. They work hard for themselves and for their families. Many live in situations where they are in one home with over four families living together, yet they come to school every day ready to learn and grow.
Our school does as much as it can to help and assist the families of our students and we strive to make a better future for them to live in.
My Project
My students love their new Naruto book box set, but we are missing the third and final box set. They are very quickly reading through the first two and many students have started to ask if there are more books in the series. Amazon has the final box set of the series and my students are hoping that we might be able to get the final book before the end of the school year so that they can finish the entire story. These books mean so much to many of my students. They inspired many of them to start reading and they would love to read it through to the end. Thank you!
