Help Us Find The Little House On the Prairie Books!

My students need 12 new "Little House on The Prairie" books, with new titles and replacement copies. Our well-loved books are literally falling apart at the seams.

My Students

All of our Little House on The Prairie library books are very old, with yellowing pages, broken bindings and discolored covers. We have had a $0.00 library budget for three years, so we have no funding for any new books. We are also missing several of the titles in the series.

My students LOVE the Little House series, and read the books every year for class assignments!

They get frustrated when we are missing titles in the series. We are a Title One school, with an 84% poverty group of students, K - 6th grade. Most of our students rarely go a public library, for various reasons: some due to lack of family involvement and some due to transportation problems. For many of our students, our library is the only real library they have ever used. They love new books!

My Project

I have selected new titles that we were missing from the entire series. I have also chosen replacement copies of the really worn copies that we have (most of the set). These new books will be a welcome resource for all our students. It will be so great to have the complete series, in good condition! Teachers will check them out as well!
