This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are always the same age every year and I keep getting older. With that said, the instruction provided currently encompasses robots (Mechanical and Computer Science Engineering). Our small yet mighty school is composed of many ambitious students that are eager to share their talents.
The expansion hub being requested will allow the students to use GPS to help create more sophisticated codes that will allow the robot to run autonomously.
This hub will also allow the students to add more motors to the robot. They would be able to create a lift system and claw for the robot. The mecanum wheels with a 5mm bore size are necessary for advanced coding. These mecanum wheels will allow the robot to do a crab crawl and pivot. These tools will help pave the way for the students to think outside the box and demonstrate their skills on a grander stage.
