Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a small Title I urban school in a low-income community. The school closure, caused by the current COVID-19 crisis we are experiencing, has forced my students into remote learning. Remote learning has put a major strain on my already struggling students.
My students are an enthusiastic group of children that have a strong desire to learn.
They would benefit from a variety of resources to help them be successful during our current remote learning experience.
My Project
Please help me give my students journals and whiteboards and other writing tools to help them express and document their thoughts, ideas, and feelings. The pandemic has forced us to shelter in place and forgo many of our regular summer activities. Writing can help my students express themselves and develop their creativity.
