Help me give my students an Eggspert, K'NEX, vibrating ball pillows, and other resources to help them learn to self-regulate their bodies and understand their emotions.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is comprised of Kindergarten through fifth-grade students who come from all different cultural and economic backgrounds. They are in my room to learn how to regulate their emotions and better understand and express their feelings. They overcome so much each day and are the living definition of resilience.
These materials will allow me to teach my students to use strategies that will help them become more in tune with their wants and needs and how to express them.
Many times, my students just need to be taught how to handle big emotions in a way that is safe for them and for others.
