Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our small yet mighty school has been overcompensating for our lack of budget in unique ways. Our basketball and cross country teams have been using the same jerseys for years. Our debate and robotics teams look like a mismatched pair of socks.
We need a sublimation printer that will allow our students to design the team logo and print them on vinyl.
We will then use the cricut press to place them on our team t-shirts, and sweaters. Up to this point, we have done our best to look like a team (everyone where the same color). This still leaves us at a disadvantage as schools have to ask us, "What school do you belong to?"
Your donation will help our school help our students look and feel their best during tournaments. Having our student design the team logo will allow them to demonstrate their own unique identities each year. The highlight will come when these students are adults and find their custom made t-shirt that will create memories that will last a life time.
