Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students visit the store at least once a week to purchase items with their PBIS Rewards points that are earned for good behavior. The store is made up of donations from parents and teachers in our building. Many times students are overjoyed and leave with a bike. Several times students walk away disappointed or unhappy that the store does not have something that they wish to purchase. Our students love Pokemon. When the assorted Pokemon cards and figures are available in the store, scholars will be more excited to visit the store. In return student behavior will improve because scholars will want to earn additional PBIS Rewards points to purchase new items from the store.
The donations for this project will improve the school store because student excitement will grow as they see the new items available to them.
They will improve positive behavior in order to receive reward points used for purchasing school store items.
