My Project
Thanks to some incredible donors, I recently received funding to begin building my dream library, a welcoming, student centered space where every child can discover the joy of reading.
With shelves and materials now in place, I'm coming back to DonorsChoose to fill our library with the kinds of books that truly matter: inclusive, high quality stories that reflect the diverse experiences of my students and the world around them.
One exciting addition I’m hoping to bring in is a 5 book graphic novel set by underrepresented authors, featuring Break, Amelia Aierwood: Basic Witch, Four Eyes, Invisible, and Duel. These engaging titles for ages 8–12 offer vibrant stories about identity, courage, and connection. Your support will help ensure our students see themselves in the books they read and explore perspectives beyond their own.
