My Students
My students thoroughly enjoy learning Science by "playing" with hands-on activities, so I try and provide as many as possible in my classroom.
My students are a highly inquisitive and motivated group of 9th and 12th-grade Science students.
We are a comprehensive public charter high school located in Southern California. My students are always motivated by real-world applications of what we are learning, and I try as best I can to provide them with the opportunities to learn from hands-on activities.
My Project
Like I have mentioned earlier, my students are highly interested in the world of applied Physics and this modern version of an old tool will allow me to feed off that interest. This will help my inclusion students in particular learn the principles of applied forces in a new and unique manner by providing them with ample hands-on learning opportunities. I also intend to use it to help them understand automotive and industrial applications of torque with this tool.
I know that bringing a world class version of a torque wrench to my classroom I can enable them to get some of the real world applications of using torque while greatly enhancing their enjoyment of learning physics.
