My Students

My students thoroughly enjoy learning physics by playing with toys so I try and provide as many as possible in my class room for them to do so without them realizing how much they are learning.

My students are a highly inquisitive and motivated group of 11th and 12th grade physics students.

We are a comprehensive public charter high school located in Southern California. They are always motivated by real world applications of what we are learning and I try as best I can to provide them with the opportunities.

My Project

I am always trying to find ways to use real world examples of the physics involved with flight with my students all time. My students are huge fans of helicopters, drones etc. and are always asking questions about flight controls and the mechanisms of flight. This Quadcopter will enable me to provide them with the chance to get some amazing hands-on experience that will greatly expand upon their understanding of the principles of flight. Needless to say bringing in a real helicopter would be great but just is not going to happen so this RC quadcopter version would be much more feasible.
