My Students
I teach Physics to 10-12th grade students with a limited budget to purchase demonstration equipment.
My students always ask for hands-on examples of the principles of electromagnetism and having access to such items will prepare them for college lab studies and courses.
My students are a highly inquisitive and motivated group of 11th and 12th grade physics students.
We are a comprehensive public charter high school located in Southern California. They are always motivated by real world applications of what we are learning and I try as best I can to provide them with the opportunities.
My Project
If I have a handheld generator, electric bell and five lamp circuit, I can create meaningful hands-on lab demonstrations for my students. There are many benefits to my students of having access to such equipment, but the most important would be giving them opportunities to perform experiments dealing with electromagnetism that I am not currently able to. The equipment will also help prepare my students for the college science lab environment by giving them opportunities to create hypothesis's and then design and carryout their own experiments.
Your help will ensure that my students have the opportunity to perform hands-on experiments with the properties of electromagnetism.
The equipment purchased through your generous donation will make it possible for me create demonstrations that will increase my students understanding and appreciation of Physics.
