My Students

Do you remember the thrill of visiting a large and interactive museum? Seeing and learning about ideas you only knew from books or television? I want to give our 7th graders that opportunity! Our students are inquisitive and eager to learn.

Many of our students have not had the opportunity to experience the benefits of a high-quality science museum, and I want to give them that opportunity!

We are a mostly rural district in southwest Ohio. Our students come from many different backgrounds and welcome new opportunities.

My Project

A class field trip to the Center of Science and Industry in Columbus, Ohio will give our students access to hands-on exhibits and over 300 interactive experiences. This STEM experience provides limitless learning possibilities! Dinosaur Gallery, Unseen Oceans, Big Machines, Gadgets, and Energy Explorers are just some of the exhibits available to our 7th graders.

The opportunity to deepen our students' understanding of science and technology concepts is vitally important.

Our families are contributing to the field trip, and we are doing other fundraising, but we need a bit more help. Please help make this field trip a reality for our class!
