My Students
My students are simply amazing. I have 19 students with a wide range of ability levels, including students with special needs. But most important, they all work hard, strive to do their best, and encourage each other.
My students have a love of reading.
They have recently become more interested in chapter books and are so proud of themselves when they complete an entire book. They love to borrow books to take home and read to their parents and they love to read together or to each other.
My Project
My first grade students love to read. In fact, they love to read so much that they have read almost all my picture books! They have discovered chapter books and have a newfound love. I want to broaden their options in my classroom library and provide them with more chapter books.
