My Project
I have the privilege of teaching a truly wonderful group of students who are curious, creative, and deeply engaged in learning. They especially enjoy STEM-based assignments that involve architecture, design, and modeling—projects that challenge them to think critically and apply their skills in meaningful ways. To support this kind of hands-on, design-focused learning, my students would greatly benefit from access to a drafting table.
Our school is located in a very small, rural district where technology and specialized classroom resources are limited.
Despite these challenges, my students consistently rise to the occasion, using what we have to the fullest. A drafting table would provide a proper workspace for drawing plans, building models, and exploring engineering concepts—making their learning experience more authentic and effective.
With the right tools, these students can fully develop their potential and gain the real-world skills needed for future success in STEM fields.
