This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher, I believe that avoiding disruptions during instruction and learning is paramount. One of the ways that I to mitigate disruptions is by providing students with everything they need inside of the classroom space. When students need to leave the classroom to get a sip of water or to refill their water bottles, those are crucial minutes that could be added back to their learning!
For this project I am requesting supplies to create a "hydration station" in our classroom where students can refill their water bottles without needing to step outside.
I am also requesting clear, reusable water bottles to distribute so that each of my students can have a water bottle and access to hydration at their desks.
