My Students

Our students come from immensely diverse backgrounds, both socially, culturally and economically. As a school with a high poverty rate, many students in our school face constant obstacles, which have a profound impact upon their lives, both inside and outside the classroom. Nonetheless, in the face of adversity, our students are incredibly optimistic and resilient.

We are committed to reshaping the face of learning and in doing so, providing our students with a world class education.

We value student voice and choice and pride ourselves in designing our instruction thematically, rather than following canned curriculums. As well, we strive to develop students with strong characters and a sense of civic engagement and social justice.

My Project

By donating to this project, you will be single handedly contributing to the development of Math fact fluency for over 400 public school children.

Reflex Math is a fun and engaging math fact fluency program that we will use on a daily basis for students to develop their addition, subtraction and multiplication fact fluency skills.

We have used Reflex Math for many years and have seen the incredible foundational growth it offers in developing students' math fact fluency development. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, we can no longer afford purchasing this important program for our school. That's where YOU come in! Donating to our project ensures that over 400 students continue to have access to this fantastic program.
