My Students
My students are inner city students. I service students from Kindergarten through the eighth grade. We also have a preschool classroom within our school. Many of my students live in the neighborhood and walk to school. Our school services a large student population both before and after school.
As a result, there are students who are in school as early as 6 AM and as late as 6 PM.
All of my students are eligible to receive the school breakfast and lunch for free.
My Project
Students will use the rock wall accessories as a part of their strength and conditioning programs. It will also provide exciting opportunities for individual as well as team challenges. The students will go over, under and through the noodle obstacles.
The traversing wall increases upper body strength, as well as, building self confidence each and every time they complete the course.
The rock wall accessories will add yet another dimension to the climbing experience. Students may choose their climbing route and challenge themselves accordingly. This will also help enhance our Team Building Unit that is covered with our middle school students.
