My Students
My school is a charter school located in North Minneapolis. Eighty-five percent of our school's students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Students come to school each day eager to learn and ready to work hard. I teach 3rd grade math and science! Kipp Northstar Primary School is a tight-knit community of students & teachers who come to school every day & work extremely hard.
I want my scholars to leave each day feeling empowered, enabled, and engaged in their learning and their well rounded education experience.
My Project
At Kipp we have the privilege of a classroom bathroom. My students expressed the desire to have wipes to keep our bathroom & desks clean. Along with our floor.
3rd grade scholars want to take ownership of their classroom space & take good care of their desks & bathroom.
These materials will help them to do just that.
Vacuumer is a classroom job, so we need a vacuum for that student. Students are eager to take care of their own messes & the messes of others when they have the supplies they need to clean up. They are learning responsibility for community space.
