I teach twenty-one wonderful and diverse students in an all day Kindergarten classroom in a high-need community.
My classroom is hands- and brains-on, and we love to learn from one another and through music. We love to sing and dance. My goal is to inspire my students to believe in themselves and become lifelong learners. They have made my life brighter, and I would like to brighten theirs in return!
My Project
We have many cultures represented in our classroom, and we need more resources to help us celebrate these differences! I am requesting multicultural stories to open the door for discussions about different cultures and traditions. I believe this literature is important because it will provide my students and their families with validation. My students love learning about different cultures, and these books will be perfect!
