Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Lights, Camera, Action! How many of you like being in front of a camera? It definitely takes some getting used to, but it is something that can really help a person develop self-confidence.
I am lucky enough to teach third grade in a great low-income community.
We have dedicated students who work hard in school and deserve to have technology in their classrooms. My students can benefit from dramatic activities and other opportunities where they perform in front of others and in front of a camera.
My Project
Students need to feel confident in themselves to be successful in the real world. I like to use activities with dramatic art in order to help students overcome their fears of speaking in public. Students really enjoy these activities. I would like to use a video camera to record these great moments in our classrooms. The students love to see themselves on camera. We can also share our classroom experiences with parents.
A Video Camcorder would really transform our classroom.
Students absolutely love technology. What better way to motivate the students to present in front of their peers than capturing our classroom activities on video? Thank you for caring so much about education.
