My Project

Most of my schools freshman Algebra students found themselves out of their classrooms in the last quarter of their 7th grade year. They started high school algebra a year and a half later with very few prerequisite skills in place and only a vague understanding of how math is embedded in the world. I am asking for help in purchasing access to a Media4Math standards building license. This resource gives our Algebra students standards based activities that highlight crucial real world connections, help make math real, and give kids the ability to apply math in a way that bridges those missing prerequisite skills.
