My Students

Our students support and care for one another, and our staff. We are a family of diverse learners, with many overcoming socioeconomic obstacles to succeed in school and life. We would like for the library to be a place where student feel comfortable collaborating, learning, and growing.

Our students are working on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the Lego wall will not only help develop these skills, but provide an exciting centerpiece to our budding makerspace.

Our students are incredibly excited to get started creating!

My Project

Our students are eager to create and continue to develop their critical thinking skills by experimenting, collaborating, and innovating on their brand new LEGO wall. We are requesting LEGOs, LEGO base plates, and all the nuts and bolts to put our wall up and start creating.

We have a diverse student body with a variety of economic needs, and the LEGO Wall will provide a low-stress environment for students to create and work together in a positive space.

We hope the LEGO Wall will help students develop problem-solving skills that will carry over into their daily classes. We also plan to use it as a motivator to get more students to create and test out other forms of technology available in the library and at our school.

Our students will be immensely thankful to receive these resources, and we cannot wait to see what they create!
