My Project
Our low-income students deserve every opportunity to thrive. This summer, I'm committed to providing them with the invaluable gift of virtual reading and writing instruction, ensuring they continue to grow, learn, and build essential literacy skills from the comfort of their homes.
My students are incredibly invested in their literacy journey.
They've personally witnessed how intensive daily reading and writing instruction has helped them succeed, and they are committed to continuing their hard work even during the summer months. To truly bridge existing gaps and enable this continued progress, they critically need access to tablets.
These tablets will allow them to:
Write and collaborate in real-time: Facilitating interactive lessons and group projects.
Participate in live instruction: Front-facing cameras enable them to engage directly with teachers and peers.
Receive real-time feedback: Ensuring immediate support and personalized guidance on their reading and writing.
