Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imaging four hundred creative students each with a unique talent trying to tell a story through art but only if they had the necessary tools to express it. In our art room students are very creative and curious individuals. From Kinder through sixth grade and including life skills students they all love to create new things in art class. They love to explore with different techniques and are always willing to learn new things.
Many of my students come from underserved communities where access to art materials is limited.
Yet every time they come to the art classroom they show up ready to show off their creativity and imagination.
I am requesting basic and essential art supplies such as paper, clay oil pastels and more to help support a wide range of projects. Such as portraits, murals and other fun and engaging art projects. Your support will help my students spark their inspiration to continue doing art through out their life!
