My Project

Hello, Donors! This is my second year with my own classroom in the great city of Philadelphia. Resources and funding are not always in abundance, even for the day to day classroom necessities. My young students show up on the first day eager to being their learning journey. Providing them with necessary supplies to aid in their learning only increases that eagerness and excitement toward education. Reading is a huge passion of mine and I try to incorporate as many books in my classroom as possible, especially considering my school does not have a library. The bookshelf requested will allow for display as well as organization for some our amazing read-alouds. Anchor charts are a daily part of learning for students and the self-stick easel pads requested are perfect for displaying resources and information around the classroom.

You'd be shocked to see how something as small as a colorful pencil, a fun eraser, an incentive jar or a brand new book can focus a student and spark their interest in what is happening in the classroom.

As adults, we can sometimes take these little things for granted when focusing on the grand scheme of teaching. Please help my students find that little extra happiness that can turn each of their learning experiences into a positive one.
