My Students
When I went to Kindergarten, I remember that we got to paint and play the majority of the day. These days, Kindergarten is a lot different. My students have a lot of expectations that they have to master throughout the school year.
My Kindergarten students love to learn.
They are excited to come to school and learn. We are a small school in Florida that works with students from a variety of backgrounds. My students love learning through hands-on activities that are engaging and fun! They love to read in Guided Reading when they have individual books to read.
My Project
I would like a set of King Series Kindergarten and 1st Grade books and a Nook. With these books, I will have more variety of lower level texts for my students to read. These books and the Nook will allow my students to practice the reading skills necessary to become strong and fluent early readers. The King Series books, as well as the Nook, will engage the students in their learning.
With your help, I will be able to provide my students with these King Series books and Nook.
These materials will engage the students. When children start to feel successful in their reading ability, they will want to engage in reading more. Please help my students become successful readers!
