In my class, I have students who are reading at all different reading levels. Many of my students have never fully developed a love for reading and I want to help foster that love in them!
Whole class novel studies help students fall in love with books in a way that they sometimes can't when reading alone.
By studying a novel together, led by the teacher, students can practice all important reading skills while falling in love with the characters in the books.
I am asking for two class sets of the novels The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane and The Wild Robot. Both of these books include diverse characters and settings that help the students to think deeply about the text. Please help my students fall in love with reading through these two whole class novel studies!
