Help me give my students 5 Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablets for gathering and analyzing data in science.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Roy's classroom raised $780

My Students
My students are active learners, with many goals and too many challenges. Through these challenges, I continue to try new ways to get them to enjoy fifth grade and love learning. Whether it be, hands-on STEM activities or finding the right seating, I actively work towards reaching each student.
We are in a small, close-knit town located on the coast of Maine.
Several different towns build our school. We are known as the large elementary school in this area. However, we would be considered small by most areas. We have just under four hundred students PK-8. The majority of our students are involved in the free and reduced lunch program.
My projects will not only benefit my present students, but many years to come.
My Project
My active students thrive on hands-on activities and I love helping students find a passion for science. With your donation, my students and future students will be able to feel like real scientists. They will not only collect data, but share their findings as well.
These Amazon Tablets will help students take quick field notes, take pictures of specimens, and connect with Google Slides to create presentations of their research.
I'm in connection with multiple projects to help students become citizen scientists. They will use them on our school's nature trail, future Vital Signs projects through Gulf of Maine Research Institute, and other future projects.
