Help me give my students whisper phones and comprehension passages to help them become more fluent readers and build on their comprehension.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Title 1 School approximately serves 500 eager to learn scholars. The students in our school come from low-income families and they receive free breakfast and lunch daily. Although there may be challenges my students face, they are ambitious, thoughtful and very caring. In my classroom you will find scholars from diverse backgrounds that speak different languages who have come together to create our class family and reach our learning goals. They have also learned that they can learn a lot from one another. As their teacher, I strive daily to give them various learning opportunities whether it be one on one, small groups, partner/group collaboration, hands on activities or whole group instruction. My students have various learning styles and I have made it a goal of mine to attend to each of them. It is important for me that they understand having differences is okay and for them to be able to embrace it.
My Project
My students could really use whisper phones to become fluent readers and reading comprehension passages to help them build their reading comprehension skills. The phones will help my students hear themselves read which will in turn help improve their pace of reading as well as their reading expression. My struggling readers would be able to use these phones to help them sound out words without disturbing others around them.
The comprehension passages would allow my students to read leveled passages and then answer questions about what they read.
This will challenge them all and with the passages being different levels they always have the opportunity to move up a level or down a level if need be.
