Teaching incredibly creative students from kindergarten to eighth grade is what I get to do everyday! I teach art at a charter school in an urban high-need community.
My students and I have been hard at work creating beautiful and fun works of art for our first annual art show. My school has a fantastic courtyard that we would like to feature as a sculpture garden during the show. Fifth grade students will learn the art of mosaic while creating art for the courtyard.
By having nine sets of mosaic stepping stone kits each student will be able to make their own stepping stone. The kits come with molds that I can use in future projects as well. After the art show is over students will have a piece of art that will last a lifetime.
