This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is my 10th year teaching, but my first year teaching 2nd grade. I work for a Title I school where materials are very scarce. I want to be able to provide my students with anything and everything to help them be successful in their academic learning. Providing my students with different math tools such as manipulatives and games allows them to experience different ways to do the math. Making math and all subject areas fun for my students is important because it allows them to explore their thinking and different ways of problem-solving.
