My Project
My students are an energized bunch of eager learners. They come from a good mix of backgrounds and socioeconomic groups. What unites us is our love of learning and curiosity about the world. We have been using computers and iPads to learn material beyond our classroom walls, but it's not always easy.
Computer mice and headphones allow students to work more easily quietly, while the webcam will allow us to zoom with experts around the world!
With these tools, my students who find touchpads challenging will be able to plug in a mouse. Those for whom noise is a distraction can wear headphones. In technology class we can all work without flooding the room with the sounds of coding and Boom cards. The stickers are a great, cost-effective classroom reward for cooperation and work well done. Some will also help us examine a natural phenomenon - snowflakes!
