My students need an iPad2 with a protective cover and Wi-Fi accessibility to maximize language arts, math, science, social studies, and technology skills!
I pilot an iPad program to increase student understanding and achievement of state curriculum standards, but one iPad is not enough to support my 50 student's creative minds. They have a hard time waiting to use this new tool, which has already proved to motivate them into learning opportunities!
I teach a diverse group of students that deserve the opportunity to benefit from using the latest technology.
However, due to our current funding, technology is limited to a mere 30 minutes per week with limited computer access. The availability of iPad applications to use are absolutely amazing! My children are eager to utilize the specialized math, language, social studies, and science apps. I want them to be able to do so in order to further encourage becoming technologically savvy, increase their language and math skills. I also want to provide a stimulating and fun new way of learning for the future.
My Project
This iPad2 with wireless capability will afford my students the opportunity to apply user-friendly technology to learn skills in math, language, social studies, AND science! Public schools rarely get new, up-to-date technology, so this is quite a unique opportunity and privilege for my children!
