My Project
Knowledge of computers and computer algorithms will be essential for success in our youth's future. Chief among these algorithms are those in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I want to inspire students with the possibilities these new methods bring to our world, but to do so, I need a device powerful enough to run and code them. This is not possible with computers provided by the school district.
This device will be used by students during enrichment projects to test and demonstrate advanced computer vision and prediction algorithms, the same algorithms that are being used at tech companies that provide incredible careers here in Reno and around the country.
It is my hope that these projects will inspire my students to pursue these ideas in college and industry, and maybe be the cutting edge of furthering development of these ideas in the future!!
