My Students
Kindergarten is such a fundamental year in school. Students deserve the best education they can get at the earliest age possible, and this project will help my class succeed in many ways.
My kindergarten scholars come from all different ethnic backgrounds and with different skill set.
My students are learning to love school through our exciting hands-on, experience-based classroom. Unfortunately, my school is lacking tremendously in resources and funding, and we were provided with hardly any materials.
Although they live in one of the most exciting and progressive cities in the world, the overwhelming majority live in extreme poverty, and most receive free lunches. The one thing linking all my scholars together is a love for learning that has not yet been altered by the challenges facing them daily. I passionately want them to love school and be motivated to gain as much knowledge as possible. With their enthusiasm for school, coupled with the resources to successfully inspire them, I believe they can achieve whatever they set their minds to.
My Project
This year due to Covid-19, each student will need individual station materials. In order to accomplish this, I will need a few supplies. The trays will help them be 6ft apart and the centers will be done individually. I would love for my students to still have hands-on fun learning experiences.
Back to school this year is going to look different than before.
I will be teaching students in the classroom and online simultaneously throughout the day.It is important to have materials and activities that will benefit students in the classroom and online.
I would love for all of my students to still feel the joy and excitement that going to school can bring.
I believe by putting some learning tools in their hands will help to do that.
