This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After teaching 22 years in an urban district where 100% of students qualify for free breakfast/lunch our room needs a refresh! My sweet first graders come to school everyday ready to learn and play. Often we don’t have a lot of our basic needs such as tissues or a treat at snack time. My students deserve to have the best tools to help them grow. Something as simple as a document table will help me project workbooks so I can help students that need an extra push in a lesson.
